Honestly, the original seat was the only weak point of this great stand……. And that’s a big deal. I was willing to work with it. Enter the Textilene seat…..
This mother is THE game changer feature that these stands deserve!!! They should come with this seat! At the very least offer it as an upgrade at the time of stand purchase. Do this = doing better. Night and day difference for the stand hunter.
Thanks, Eric! We’re thrilled the Textilene seat made such a difference to your stand. We really appreciate the enthusiastic feedback and your suggestion to offer it as an upgrade - stay tuned we may have something up our sleeve!
I ordered Novix double step kits to retrofit my single step Lone Wolf climbing sticks. The single steps had been OK over the years, but I wanted the increased footing flexibility and stability that the double steps offered. Changing them out was super easy and I could not be happier with the results. I double-stack the double step sticks on outside positions of my stick quiver and then secure them with Novix QuickStraps. My 20+ year old climbing sticks are even better now than when they were new. This was a great upgrade and I couldn't be happier!
Hi Matthew, thanks for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled the Double Step Kit was an easy upgrade and gave your current sticks the added footing and stability you were looking for. Here’s to many more years of use!
I have been using a mid 2000s Lone Wolf Alpha Hang On stand and four climbing sticks (which I recently converted with Novix Double Steps). I use a stick quiver and double-stack my double step sticks. 18" Novix Quickstaps give me a fast way to secure my sticks and ensure that they don't slide around in the stick quiver. I tried using other straps first, but they weren't as easy to use. Now I'm absolutely sold on Novix Quickstraps.. Great product!
Hi Matthew, thank you for your fantastic review! We're glad the QuickStraps are making your setup easier and more secure - that's why we built them! Cheers and best of luck this season.
Nice to be able to get replacement straps that fit your equipment well. High quality product.
Hi John, thank you for your positive feedback! We're glad you're satisfied with the quality and fit of the QuickStraps™. Hope they serve you well!
I have 2 was looking at a 3rd but not sure what they couldve upgraded to justify the 200 dollar price increase
