Peace of mind

As a 15 year hunter safety instructor, I've heard too many stories of accidents or close calls. For $20 (much less than an ER visit) I opted to replace the cables on both my 15+ year old LW Alpha's. They didn't look in bad shape but wanted the peace of mind. Also opted to replace a couple Versa Buttons as the old ones looked suspect due to discoloring.
Only issue I had, my 7/16 socket was too large of outside diameter to fit inside the **** of the platform leveling assembly to remove the nylon lock nut. Had to make due with a needle nose pliers to remove the old one and install the new.
Glad I made the investment to ensure a safe hunt.
