Check the knots!

First time using bow rope, should have checked the knots but didn't, Went to lower my bow from the tree and the knot connecting the long bar was not tied good and slipped. Bow fell 25ft out of tree.

A little extra

I watch a a guy use two bow ropes on his stand setup and . One on his stand and one on his bow. Pull the stand up and the pull your bow up after get in the stand. Saves a trip to the ground and no trouble getting the stand off your back. It does work.
